Dr.Gopal after completing his PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has done pioneering work in developing silicon technology in India. He built the first silicon wafer manufacturing plant in India, Metkem Silicon, Mettur Dam, Tamil Nadu. He was the Vice President of the business before he left to start an independent firm which provides consultancy in silicon wafer production technology, in which he has got several patents. He advises FluxGen in using best solar technologies for energy harvesting.
C N Thimmappaiah after doing his MTech from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in material science worked with BHEL and later worked as R&D Manager for Grindwell Norton where he filed several patents. He started his own business in Grinding wheels which has made a niche in its segment. Being a Quality expert, C N Thimmappaiah ensures that FluxGen makes best in class quality systems.
Ganesh Shankar, did his BE from RV College of Engineering. He worked for a year with a start-up called NextFirst Engineering in the field of Special Purpose Machines & Robotics before pursuing his masters at IISc. He did his research on “Ion Trap Mass spectrometer” during his time at IISc. He later worked with General Electric for Aviation systems business, where he developed “Flight Management Control System FMCS” along with a team of embedded systems engineers. During his time at GE, he also worked with Energy Transmission and Distribution business (now called GE Digital Energy) as analog design engineer in developing energy meters for Smart Grid market. He along with other professionals from IIT and IIM co-founded FluxGen Engineering Technologies in the year 2011 to develop technologies in Renewable Energy domain and Smart MicroGrids. He currently operates as the Managing Director of FluxGen. His aim is to push technologies for energy and water management systems so that they become economically viable and reliable by using the power of IoT.
Besides Ganesh’s full time engagement with industry, he offers a course on Industrial IoT at Center for Continuing Education at IISc, he is also a Board of Studies member at RVCE (his alma mater) and Corporate Advisory Board Member at SRM University. In the past he was also the Guest faculty at BMSCE and National Institute of Technology, Karnataka
Vinod after his MBA with top grades from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore worked with Deloitte as a senior consultant and performed exceedingly well to get the Maverick Award. He also worked with Hindustan lever and Mercer Consultancy. Vinod brings his strong business management techniques in helping FluxGen in achieving its business goals.
